\nI am happy to hear that you support the use of Independent Student for gifted students. Have you used Independent Studies with your students in the past and if so, was it successful? Do you think it is only useful for Gifted Students? Some teachers might be hesitant to allow their students to have this flexibility. What would you say to encourage them to at least try this method on a small scale?

\nI appreciate that you brought up the importance of structure when designing and assigning Independent Study projects. Students must be held accountable for meeting specific learning targets to ensure that the Independent Study is beneficial.
